skins, punx and drunx

today was good.

me and joe went into town.
on one of the streets by monument, there was another one of those weird vans that were letting people on. we walked past to look, then this cheerful homo popped out of no where and said "hello! want to do on big lizards big idea?" or something like that, then he handed us over to this woman with a thick mustache and monobrow. she told us to draw the lizard with ourself doing something exciting.
of corse, i drew the lizard drinking an appletini saying "send me something over" and the picture of me was posting a postcard in the letter box, and i was saying "only if you send me a postcard. your tounge is currently purple!". the woman who told us what to do came up behind me and said "oh lizard wants you to post him an appletini? original!!"
joe asked the woman what the whole thing was about, and she said "it's too hard to explain, it's too layered" and then he said "how long has this been around" and she said "oh the lizard has been alive for a very long time!"
when we were leaving, joe said "do you have a website?" and she said "i don't know. GOOGLE IT!" um, it was a terribly organized event, but it was so fucking funny.

then we went to pizza hut. i finally had the cookie dough. it was different to what i expected, and really rich and sickly.
um yeah, we basically just walked about bored after that.

thats it for town really.
when i got home, i basically looked for free music.
the only good source for free downloads is purevolume. i just want to find new bands, and it's been very helpful. there's a genre tab at the bottom, and when you pick your favourite, a band of that genre comes up. although for punk theres been a few familiar ones up there.
i used to go on that site all the time in 2005/2006. i remember when panic at the disco were on the charts on there. good times. very good times.
