well, it seems like ages ago i last updated, i'm really in the mood to write something.

started work on sunday, and i can say i enjoyed it a lot more than my previous job. good thing about it, it's only 1 day shifts (apart from i go in twice this week), and the people who come in aren't snobs. also, free coffee, sunday dinner and tips, more perks than last time.
the only downside was not having a till, i had to work the cost out in my head, and i felt like i might accidently have been charging too much or too little each time. bought a calculator to resolve this though.

also on sunday, i saw henry rollins. it was the first proper event i went to alone, and i was pretty scared. it was a great show though. he stood and talked for 2 hours, no sip of water, no pause. i really wish i could be around more people like him, he's so clever and funny. also, so jealous that he's travelled to so many places. i would love to have stories like his to share. i'm totally going to see him when he's back in town, and i  don't even care if i'll be alone or not.

gained an ebay addiction recently. bidding on lots of things i don't need. at least i can afford it right now. i got some cute hairclips on their way to me! i think i've won this michel gondry comic book too, considering no one else has bid yet. i bid on a french dvd that's £15 on amazon, only £2.50 with £1 postage, but someone outbid me by 20p. i decided not to try have a bidding war, and they won it. kind of wish i did now cause it's over, i'm probably never going to see the film now!

had a presentation today. didn't go as well as i thought. i was so nervous, i thought i'd got over nervousness during presentations. i think it might have something to do with a camera right in front of me too. it's hard to tell what my teachers thought, and i was told i "wasn't allowed feedback" and suggested it was because i'd tell other people in my class. whatever.

also subway obsession is coming back. give me your subway points. jalapeños, pickles and mayoooooooo sil vous plait?
