today was good, but a piss-take.
the snow was so thick. like, the thickest i've ever seen it in my life. i died this morning when i only had my converse on in the snow. there's 2 holes on the inner side of each, and it slowly filled with snow whenever i was outside. not only that, i chose to wear one pair of socks, not even fancy thick ones. i miss my fake uggs. my sister has them apparently. ugh.
well, no first lesson today. after registration, i originally kept walking around the college entrance deciding weither just to go home, even though there was no comfirmation of the rest of the lessons cancelling. i even stood at the bus stop for 10 minutes speaking to him what to do. during this, joelle parked next to the bus stop, and ran into college. i was hoping, that she was urgently informing them the rest of the days cancelled. but that encouraged me to go in and find out. instead of asking about it, i sat by one of the computers and started to write up my first pen-pal letter. it was so hard starting the whole conversation, but hopefully it's going to be different to my last pen-pal. from what i understand of her, she's a total contrast to my last pen-pal. don't get me wrong, she isn't a bad person, just we ended up just texting rather than actually writing letters, which was saddening and expensive.
then leyla came to join me cause she finished a lesson early. davey walked by, and came over to tell us that he'd spoken to the people who wrote the offensive things on the quiz we had on the last lesson before christmas. i didn't react, but wanted to say thanks. leyla just said "cool"
it's kind of funny, but davey was obviously caring enough to do something about it. like if it happened in photography, toby would've blamed one of us for doing it.
and i also found out college finished at 12. i only had a photography lesson at 11.20. it pissed me off. we were lateish for that lesson too cause we were watching charles manson dancing. it's a perfect excuse aswell. just blame all your educational problems on charles manson.
i even left earlier too with leyla to get my new photography workbook. well toby insisted i should have one by tomorrow.
so i bought one at the royal quays, along with a book named 'panic' by jeff abbott. it was only 25p. leyla bought a copy too.
oh and at the greggs stand, leyla bought me a sausage roll, and got herself a sausage and bean melt.
but when she asked for them, she just said to the woman "sausage... roll and sausage and bean melt"
it was too funny. i'm laughing now thinking about it. i can imagine it would be alot more cringey if i had been the one buying them.
we then went into wallsend, for my stamp. it cost me 90p to send that letter. it's only 62p for a postcard, so why should one page be 30p more? pfft.
ohh another funny greggs moment. leyla bought a pasty, and it fell out the bottom of the bag. and we were standing laughing at it for about a minute and it was still lying on the floor.
when i got home my feet were itchy, cause of the snow. oh, and did i mention, my front yard is perfect. no ones walked in it today, and the snow also fell from the roof. i wish i took a picture of it, but i guess i couldn't take a perfect shot of it without christening it with footprints. if it's still as nice tomorrow, i'll give it a try.
and so far, my book is intresting. it's a crime/thriller, which i wasn't too excited about. it's about a film maker whoes mother forces to come back home, even though he lives 2 hours away. when he gets there, the mother is dead, and the people who killed her try and kill him. i don't want to go too into it. but i didn't really explain much more than the blurb of the book did.
i'm on chapter 7 now. since i'm off tomorrow, i intend to read after celebrity big brother. ooh i'm old (:
