i hate you, fuck you, leave me alone.

today was shit
well, the thought of the gig helped me through the day.

i don't recall of doing anything too intresting before the gig. i was told to make travel arrangments, then when i phoned joe he said it was all already planned. wot.
oh and i also made joe bring his camera so i could try and get some photos for my shitty music themed photography project.

sonic boom six were good. i was most excited for these, but the audience didn't seem so thrilled by them. even though they didn't play my favourite song, i thought they were excellent performers. what would've been better would be a few more minutes for a couple more songs.
oh and they had the new guitarist, who i didn't really pay attention to, but he didn't seem to bring the band down.

the next band big d and the kids table were a band i've listened to for quite a while, but never really listened to an album in one go. they were totally different to how i expected, i loved them. none of their songs were like any of the others. i'd describe them as a fast and happy, sort of ska/reggae/punk band.
i was really pleased to hear them play 'L.A. X'

reel big fish were amazing.
they were really fun, to put it short. it brought back high school memories when they played the first song i ever heard by them, which is probably right now my favourite, called 'hate you'
sadly i didn't get to see the encore, however, i think the night overall was very good. it was probably the first gig i've been excited to see all of the line-up.
it was the second time the first support band have been the band i've been excited for aswell.

i'm really excited for the gigs this year. i was thinking about when blink come here, how brilliant that day would be. i'm looking forward to other bands coming aswell, like unexpected ones, and ones that influence me to listen to them more and shiz.
i'd better go to sleep now.
