i feel writing these blogs feels more and more foreign each time. i still haven't even typed up a manchester blog yet, and in my drafts is a really long post about the paul premiere last feburary? kind of silly.

i spent my proper summer at work mostly. kind of gutted i didn't go on holiday, but i have been to plenty of places this year i suppose. i'm hoping i can make one more oxford/london visit this year, but right now it's hard to tell if it's possible. i suppose my amazing summer plans were all before i started work.
had a plumber at the house for a week, and it was probably the most annoying part of my summer. unnecessary early mornings and walking to the pub to use the loo, SIGH.

3 of my highlights of my summer (during working months) were;
3) seeing public image limited. with my dad. i'd never been to a gig with my dad before, which is weird since i pretty much grew up listening to the music he likes. though i was never crazy about anything john lydon, i think this show has made me see things differently about him. i think my favourite part was hearing that the whole tour was funded using the money from the butter adverts he did.

2) my tattoo. i think i've already explained it in a blog. i know when when i'm older, the tattoo will be a reminder of this summer, amongst other things.

1) seeing blink-182 in manchester with liv. i'd like to do a separate post about this if i ever end up with the time. i still can't get over that we got to see them again. and even aside from the blink show, it was the best time i've ever had with liv.

i can't believe it's all over now. i've started university, and it's weird. trying to adapt to the 2 metro rides, i'm not sure if i'll ever be used to that. i do think it is (or will be) worth it. it promises so much that i never got in the past 2 years. the people who are just starting their 1st year there probably don't understand how privileged they are.

it turns out i forgot to post this yesterday. whoops. hi.

Sunday, 19 August 2012

this is long overdue, by like 2 months already. but there's no way i could get away without posting about this certain week, because it was one of the most exciting things to happen this year. i don't think i'll ever get over how good it was.

i'd been really sick the sunday and monday before i had to go to glasgow, and i was worried incase i'd be feeling shitty the whole time.

the train journey consisted of me and leyla being really hyper. on the row next to us, some old man had a puppy, and leyla wouldn't stop staring at it. eating a ham sandwich and struggling to reach the packet of crisps that the owner had hidden from it. i didn't even think it would be allowed on trains?
when they left, we were a bit more hyper, saying as we had the table to ourselves. best thing leyla said was "in bridget jones, hugh grant and piers morgan fight over her"
i don't think i've laughed so much. what made it stupider was me going "PIERCE MORGAN" and leyla was like "pierce???????"

when we got into glasgow, we immediately went searching for forbidden planet. bought super crooks 2 and 3. was kind of nice, but i felt i didn't take it all in, i was still carrying my luggage and i felt like i couldn't look at everything as comfortably as i could've been. we basically walked all around the place. whenever i go to a new place in the uk, i tend to compare it to london. except it's never as busy as london. and everyone was scottish.

when we got to the hotel, the receptionist was making friendly chat to us, and i thought it was funny that she knew that jack black was in tenacious d \m/
and after leaving our stuff, we went for a deeper search into glasgow. we couldn't find anywhere to eat, and the pub we'd intended to go to (for literally years) had closed down! we found this shop called 'stuff' and it was so ridiculous <3
ended up having a subway. wasn't that special, infact, it smelt awful inside. i don't recommend there.

the train was so packed, and when we got in the venue, the queue was stupidly long. they were mostly guys, 80% geek 20% metal. i was totally out of place with my dress :(
i bought leyla her christmas present, which was a shirt saying "dawn of the d" and had a picture of bloody kyle gass on the front.
bought myself christmas presents of pints of cider, and it was perfect. i was looking forward for a drink after feeling so ill the previous days.
when we got in the actual stalls area, it wasn't as packed as i anticipated. in fact, it was like that for the whole show, which was kind of sad.
the support band, the bots, were absolutely amazing. i was totally mind blown by them, 2 brothers; 15 year old drummer, and 18 year old singer/guitarist.

wasn't long after til tenacious d came on. i really can't comprehend that me and leyla have actually saw them live. throughout the show, we kept mentioning all the stuff jack black has been in and going "omg!", which was kind of funny. best moment was seeing beezleboss. really cannot get over it. my jaw hurt from screaming along to the song and smiling at the same time. mine and leyla's best bits dvd segment will include this song.
also, dude i totally miss you, omfg. and deth starr. UGH it was such a cool night~

after the gig, we had spent an hour or longer looking for our hotel. it got ridiculous, cause we followed the crowd, then eventually we weren't following anyone, and walked down this dodgy looking street.
i could have sworn we walked in a circle, but i trusted leyla. we even walked past somewhere the band had mentioned called "two fat ladies" omg
when we had more of a clue where we were, we found mcdonalds. leyla discovered they dispense irn bru in the scottish mcdonalds, and i don't think i've seen her happier.
on the way back to the hotel, we witnessed:
- 2 guys fist fighting each other dressed in their prom suits
- homeless people stealing clothes from a bin bag someone had left outside a charity shop
- a group of drunk teenagers, and one of which who shouted to her friends "HASH TAG: SEXY"

i didn't have a great sleep. i don't know if i was scared of the hotel, still ill, or excited for nofx.
but i don't think it was that difficult for me getting up, at least. had my ghostbusters energy drink which i bought in london. it was alright, i guess. a standard energy drink is probably nicer though.
once we left the hotel, i suddenly felt really shitty.
i did have a very scottish moment though, where a busker in a kilt was playing bagpipes. i don't know what the tune is called, BUT YOU'LL KNOW IT.

the journey back was kind of quick. had to transfer from edinburgh to newcastle. someone had got the exact same seat reservation as me, and that got awkward. but me and leyla were loud and everyone around moved.

as soon as i left leyla in wallsend i bumped into someone i didn't want to see, UGH.
and i had the least time to get ready. i was pretty nervous. but it was for nothing, because i'm stupid.
instead of waiting in the queue, we'd decided to have a drink til the doors were open. when getting out of the car, leyla's dad drove over my ankle. it hurt.
after wine and a few shots, we got into the academy, bought a shirt, had a pint. i spotted a friend who i made through nofx, and spent the whole time after that with her, basically.
it was weird how many people the band has brought me to who i spotted there that night. i'm really thankful to share a connection with people because of certain bands. it seems especially better when it's your favourite band, and they feel exactly the same way as you do about the band. it's one of my favourite things about music.
margate were good, though i don't recall them playing songs off the album i'd actually heard?
snuff were good too, their set went really fast.
and less than jake were good. i wish i cared about them more, but i've never been as huge on them as some people i know.
and nofx was amazing. well, i had an amazing time watching them. fat mike was an arsehole, obviously, but that aside, that set was exactly what i needed. it kind of took me back, and reminded me about listening to them as a teenager and listening to their music. i really don't think i'd be the person i am today without nofx.
it brought so many things for me, out of the 3 times seeing them, that was my favourite.

there was an after show party, and it was ridiculous. it was expected to end at 4am, but was shortened to 1am, because basically, it was rubbish. none of the bands turned up. well, people from less than jake came in, and walked back out again. the songs they played were perfect though. i'm used to going to rock bars where they play one or two punk songs inbetween the sorts of slipknot and 30 seconds to mars, but this set was a constant flow of bands i loved. it was a shame the turn out was shit.
then, that evening, i was the most ill i'd ever been in my life. it is exactly why i never mix my drinks.

*6 days later*

i agreed to go to a job interview stupidly not realising it was the same day i was going to see blink-182. didn't get the job. got given another job THAT EXACT morning anyway. WIN.
queued with liv for 45 minutes. she'd been there all day, which i'd intended to do anyway. felt bad for her, but i was certain that i'd make it up for her somehow, and that it really would've been worth it. the doors opened like an hour early for some reason. i absolutely ran into the building. man was like "no drinks" and i just threw it at him, i needed to be at the barrier. i knew it was going to be crazy because it was the arena, and i'm only used to trillians sized things these days.

the lobby was split in 2 queues. liv was so certain she was standing in front of the one they let through first. i was so uncertain. security guards were making people on only our side to stop queuing. "ANYONE WHO QUEUES WILL BE KICKED OUT, AL REMEMBER THA FACES" in a really thick geordie accent. everyone just turned into a group. it was literally a sea of fucking emos. i mean we were stood by a girl covered in band iron on patches that included red hot chili peppers and sex pistols? trendy.
they were letting people in as long as a queue didn't form. held onto liv so my nails digged into her, i was so desperate. we were like the second group of people to get into the room. i ran.
security "NO RUNNING"
me "PISS OFF"
i was exactly where i wanted to be. it was perfect. seemed to go really fast.
first band were hideous. twin atlantic. i'm pretty sure they believed they were headlining or something. they were very scottish as well, and i was like "i've been out of scotland a whole week, and they still haven't buggered off yet"
all-american rejects. didn't care about seeing them. but it took me back to when i first had an mp3 player when i was 12. i don't think i had heard those songs since i was that old, and it was weird. it sparked off a new obsession for liv like.

waiting for blink was the most exciting part. mark was waiting in my sight, i really could not take my eyes off him. i couldn't cope. then devo - freedom of choice played. sang along. pretty sure mark was into it. right after, devo - girl u want. the curtain went up, and mark was totally playing along. seriously one of the cutest things i have ever known.
it was the last song that played before blink started. goosebumps. i made sure no one budged me along, i needed the night to be perfect. mark tolerated my existence a lot. he threw a pick directly into my hand, but i was shocked, i didn't even grip it, and it slipped through my hand.
another part that stuck with me, was before they played 'violence', he pointed and said "this is for you".

another highlight, ghost on the dancefloor (was the only time tom came over to our side of the stage, AND LIV MADE ME LOOK AT HER TO TELL ME THAT INSTEAD, SO ANNOYING) i think it might be in the top 10 moments of my life. it was really that big for me.

acoustically played waggy. can't believe i heard it live, one of the last things i expected to hear. but people didn't care, and it annoyed me so much. since it was on the acoustic stage right at the back of the venue, i didn't try to move in case i lost my spot. there were people fighting behind me. honestly, i still don't even understand what happened, i was trying to take in the fact i was seeing blink-182 again more than anything. oh and people were shouting for travis, who was standing talking to his children. ouhglhlgwihtiuh.

after an acoustic version of reckless abandon, travis done his drum solo. i feel so stupid whenever i see travis perform, because i just stand there looking totally astounded. the word 'talented' does not describe him enough.

didn't want it to be over, but as the blink lyrics go "the start was something good, but all good things must end"~~~

Tuesday, 31 July 2012

i got my first tattoo yesterday. i'm so excited that i finally have one, been waiting since i was a kid. it literally took 10 minutes to do, and it didn't hurt as much as i expected. one of the reasons i got this was to see if i could handle the pain if i ever wanted more, and i do. but here it is.

i love it so much. it really represents a lot of things personal to me. it's for my love for blink-182. i know it's not really the best reflection of the type of band they are, but ghost on the dancefloor is a song i feel like i can connect to the most out of any other. i get chills every time i hear it, and i cried the first time i heard it live. this band are a big part of my life, and they are one of the main things that helped me cope through my adolescence. so i suppose you could say it's a tribute to them.
another reason why i love the song so much is that it reminds me that the people i can no longer be with are always there. i miss my grandma every day, and even though i know she wouldn't be happy about me getting a tattoo for her, i feel like this is partly for her.
also, analysing my own dreams is something that interests me a lot. i love to dream, it's my favourite thing to do. dreams have created ambitions for me, and  i suppose the tattoo is a reminder that i shouldn't give up on them, since they've always lead me to good things.
it was also pretty specific that i wanted it to be in futura. i've fallen in love with the typeface because of how neat it looks. the reason why i'm in love with the font is because of wes anderson. for the past couple of years i've been pretty big on his films, and he has opened me up to a lot of new films. if i ever lose interest in his work (i hope not), i guess the font would take me back to the time when i did enjoy his films.

so i have put a lot of thought into the tattoo, and it isn't just a silly blink-182 tattoo like people were expecting. i've really opened up a lot about this, but i feel the need to share it.

i guess i haven't really went back to continue my tenacious d/nofx/blink post. so i suppose i have to do this one to mention: oh my god, i'm going to manchester tomorrow to see blink-182 again~

i'm meant to be packing now, but i've been sitting with a carrier bag on my head dying my hair for like 2 hours or something now. i'm the worst at packing. i was at work all day yesterday, then i went to the cinema afterwards to see dark horse, (which was amazing btw) it was like 10.45 when i got home, and i was dead.

suppose i'm going to try and get ready now. WISH ME LUCK.

Tuesday, 10 July 2012

i swear i'm working on a tenacious d/nofx/blink-182 super post, but it's really taken me longer than ever to finish. but really, they're some of my favourite memories of this year. some parts even considered some of my favourite memories ever ever ever.

today i graduated. whilst my dad was taking my photo of me wearing my gown and hat, i was thinking "am i really this old already??" it was just so bizarre.
i was surprised that 7 other classmates turned up, i didn't think anyone really cared that much. i don't regret going to college. honestly, at first i thought i would regret doing the course in the end, mostly because it was all so sudden, and it wasn't even my first choice. when i left 6th form college i wanted to be a screenwriter, and this course never exactly focused on that. imagine how different things could've been for me. without the course, i could have missed out on a lot of things that i currently love.
i remember starting the course and strictly thinking that i'm only ever going to write films, and perhaps edit from time to time. right now, as of this past year, i think any sort of sound production work in film would be my ideal job (working anywhere in europe, as long as i lived in paris)
i'm looking forward to what my next year has to bring, but at the same time, so nervous. the way things have been so far, i don't think i have anything to worry about.
i think one of the main things i learnt is; my life is fine, despite often thinking otherwise.

also, i'm working again. my first job again. the people at my last job are a bunch of worthless people, and it's a shame that some of my family still have to bother with them at all. i shouldn't really look into the negatives, at least i'm earning money.

i don't know, i just feel so happy after typing this out. it's an usual feeling of content. my life really isn't all that bad.

Saturday, 9 June 2012

it looks like i haven't posted about anything that's actually happened at home. i have no excuses any more, i don't have any more college, or much to do at all. even though i had prepared for the course ending, (since i was going away twice and all) i really wasn't prepared for the amount of stressing over the work. i also began to dislike certain people a lot. i don't think i would've coped doing my final year there, if i had to be stuck with all the same people again.

during my second last day, i skipped loads of time by going to the first screening of moonrise kingdom. i left college really early and walked to the cinema slowly thinking i'd be there just in time. i was super early. as in, they were screening an old news reel beforehand, and the cinema tour guide invited me in instead of waiting.
i paid extra to sit in the fancier seats on the balcony, which is the only part of the cinema i've never watched a film from (apart from the bar and the tiny room that they hardly ever screen films in). it was so comfortable, except no one else had paid extra for those seats, so i was alone apart from the usher. this was awkward at the end, cause i wanted to watch all the credits, but i felt awkward and left halfway through.
but the film was perfect. really, i had goosebumps practically throughout, i cried a little. i must sound so soppy. wes anderson puts so much thought into every aspect of the film, and you can clearly see it in moonrise kingdom. i also was particularly impressed by the main actors who are both children. their performances were flawless, i'm looking forward to seeing them in more things. hopefully with them starring in a wes anderson film means they'll be in more things like that rather than ridiculous disney kid films.
i'm considering seeing it again soon, if i have the time and money.

since i've finished college i haven't done anything extraordinary. i've had a lot of wine!!!
i specifically had a lot at 2 jubilee parties on monday. ridiculous.

i also finished watching community, and i'm really really sad because i've grown to love it a lot more than i did. it's so hard to tell if the next series will be all that good, since there's so much gossip about it~

and the past couple of days i've spent with leyla watching films.
on thursday we watched the japanese film confessions, which we had both been excited to see. except we were both a bit disappointed by it cause the narrative was weird. it's one of those films i've grown to like after i've watched it, i feel like i'd appreciate it more after a second viewing.
and the next film we watched was it's kind of a funny story. it was so stupid. it's one of those films that basically tell you that you can only be content with life if you're in a relationship, which is bullshit. the only reason i liked it was cause of zach galifianakis. other than that, i was pretty much annoyed by everything, because it was totally inaccurate.

and yesterday we watched stephen king's it. 3 hours long, man. wasn't prepared. the first half was watchable, but the second half may as well have been a kids film. i don't understand how they couldn't have made it shorter? or a better ending?
then we watched leon the professional. this was my favourite film out of the past 2 days. it was another perfectly made film, and probably my favourite natalie portman performance ever.

right now i'm getting excited for next week. tenacious d on tuesday. first time i'm travelling for a gig (other than fests, but it's not the same), and it's the first time in a big arena since my chemical romance in 2007?
then nofx on wednesday, with the aftershow party. getting pissed with fat mike and co
then blink a week later. perfect summer~

kapow

was meant to do this post waaaaaay before today, but i've been seriously so busy with college work. only one more bit of work to do, then i'm done for the summer! spared some time to do this blog, because really, i always have such a good time in london, i never want to forget.

the coach ride to london was weird. leyla was so ill when we first got on, but i was so hyper. eventually leyla lightened up, and we were taking photos of how we'd look on film posters for different genres. my favourite was rom-com <3
journey went kind of fast, cause i'm used to the extra 2 hours on top of the journey that takes me to oxford.

we went to get food straight away. mcdonalds do those cross chips now, which are the best. we cried over them, and i drank leylas unwanted mcflurry.
got to the hotel, which took quite a while to get to. turned out to be the smallest room ever. i don't think even a photo can really do it's justice for how small it actually was. the fact there was no window or air conditioning made it worse. i kept shouting "it's a TORTURE CHAMBER" and leyla thought the people around would be annoyed. i'd be surprised if i was the one ruining their hotel experience, eeeeeeeeegod.

decided to go for a stroll around london, which was nice because normally i'm carrying fuckloads of luggage  with me. leyla wanted to see the shard, which was also close to bfi southbank. i insisted we should go back to the place where i met seth rogen. turned out there was a homemade food market. ended up getting a lychee and raspberry macaroon, and a pint of home made cider, we sat and consumed them facing towards the bfi. it was a nice moment, it's kind of an extract of  exactly how i want to spend my life.
there was a bottle of spilled milk, and leyla said "it's so perfect around here, even that looks like it was meant to be there as part of an art installation" <3
we did a bit more walking, and we walked past this cinema, where a moonrise kingdom poster. i literally screamed, it was stupid. did the passionate thing i do with my hand a lot.

went to sainsburys on the way back to the hotel to pick up breakfast and socks as i forgot to bring some. when the woman served me she said "do you have a nectar card?" and i very nearly said "no thank you" (which is something leyla would do) and i just laughed and said no. i was standing laughing to myself, i bet this lady thought i was laughing at here.
also should note, i was wearing my lushotology shirt, which i got loads of hacky looks for. that morning, i was stuck between that and my bad religion shirt. i think now, i probably would have been better off with wearing the bad religion shirt.

settling down for the night was the worst. leyla went in the shower, and i heard her scream which really worried me. turned out water came out over the shower head as well as through it. wasn't legit.
also, leyla wore a really baggy vest for bed, and her boob kept hanging out. it happened loads over the weekend actually, at the end, they all ended up being done on purpose.

leyla wanted to wake up for 6am. got a 3am wake up call. WORST RANDOM THING EVER.
i don't even remember having an extra 3 hours sleep. i was so excited for kapow.

blaaaaa i don't even remember what happened, but we eventally found kapow, and it was so cute. everyone in line was geeky, i just felt so in place waiting with everyone else. i don't know how else to describe it. and when we walked in, it was like a dream. there were massive posters hanging from the ceiling, and this circle of screens showing universal films on a loop. one of which was moonrise kingdom. first time it played, i was so happy. we immediately waited to meet mark millar, which was the main reason why leyla wanted to go to kapow in the first place. he had the biggest queue ever. turned out we JUST missed the end of it, so we deicide to visit marc ellerby and adam cadwell. i love their art, and if i hadn't read on the day before i left that they were coming, i wouldn't have brought anything for them to sign.
but yeah, they were just so friendly and cheerful to us. they seemed well pleased i brought my own comics for them to sign.
after that, we went browsing through the stalls. we bumped into leylas friend ben, then waited in queue to for the noel clarke pannel for storage 24. we were the only people for ages, to the point when the security guard ended up letting us go and promising our front spaces back whenever we decided to go wait again. so we killed time by going to THE cutest mexican restaurant that i've ever witnessed. i pretty much had nachos, knowing that guacamole would go perfect with them. the guac was £1 extra, which i was like "ugh" about at first. but the portion was massive. i'd eat there forever if i could.
OH and at somepoint during this, we met nick spencer, and got our copies of morning glories signed. we didn't really speak to him, as much as everyone else seemed to.

noel clarkes pannel was kind of empty. i was so close, it was weird. i felt like it was the first time i'd went along with leyla to a film thing, rather than me making her come with me cause i want to go. it was a change seeing her the more excited one than me. but storage 24 actually looked alright, i kind of want to see it now because i'm aware of it. waa waa.

met frankie, then queued for nick frost. best moment, when the security lady made the end of the queue move to this garage area that was for the hotel next to the centre were kapow is held. and she said "move left" and the people in queue moved a step or so. and the lady was like "no, i'll take you" and lead them really far away from everyone. my version of it just sounds so unfunny, but i embarrassed leyla with the amount of laughing i did over it.

but UGH nick frost is so funny. i think he's actually one of my favourite people, if i made a list, he'd be in there somewhere. what made me love him more was the fact he used to work at chiquitos. PERFECT.

on the way out, we bumped into jonathan ross. it wasn't even the day he was meant to be going, he just happened to be there to hang out. he was chatting to some guy in a wheelchair, and we decided to go up to chat to him. some security guy was like "sorry guys, jonathan can't meet anyone else, he's in a hurry", then jonathan said "woah wait a minute, i can make time for these people!"
he was really SO friendly. all i could think about when i was near him was "HE'S MET ALL MY FAVOURITE CELEBRITIES, HE HAS THE BEST JOB AND LIFE, WOW CAN I BE YOU"
i took leylas photo with him, and as i took the photo he decided to say to me "I LIKE YOUR DIP DYE". it didn't click straight away what he said to me, but then i was like OHHHHH. then he was like "do you want a picture too darling" can't comprehend, he was so nice.
then he pointed at me and frankie and said "take the top of your hair and the bottom of your hair, and you'll have the same hair colours"
jonathan ross observation <3

bought a bottle of wine, then went to some persons house for leylas friends birthday. no idea who any of the people were. was weird. but a bottle of rose, followed by someone elses bottle of white wine. was quite alright. don't even remember much specifically, other than the birthday cake was the best cake i've ever eaten in my life. i don't understand how it was so good, omfg.

so many tubes back, and some drunk man slapped leylas arse on the way up the escalators. he said sorry, and looked genuinely sorry about it, as he held his wrist back from doing it again. i was appalled for her.

when we went back to the hotel it was basically another night of leyla showing off her boobs. uhhh.

second day of kapow was a bit more laid back. toddlers dressed as iron man and batman made me cry, they were so fucking cute.

we waited for mark millar, ended up being 4th in line, which was nice, or at least better than the end. instead of going to the desk to meet him, he came up to the queue. another friendly guy. he asked where we were from, and he was so surprised when leyla said newcastle. he said "yous both look so sophisticated, i would've thought yous were french" <3
we all laughed simultaneously, it was a cute moment.
my favourite part was when leyla accidently took a photo of his crotch. but we laughed about the french thing for ages, everyone in the queue were probably like stfu.
after that we walked around a bit, ended up picking up 3 frankenweenie posters (free tim burton posters, uh YEAH), a preview comic thingy, and a graphic novel about a baby dying. pleasant lifetime.
before we queued for movie x, we went for food. spent like £9 in cybercandy, mostly for better sweets for my family than last time. also ended up getting myself a peanut twix which was kinda cute, and a green apple jolly ranchers drink. very sugary life. that followed by going to that mcdonalds in that part of london that looks like eastenders. nacho burger, i want nachos in every burger i have now, please?????

we waited for movie x for probably an hour, or less. wasn't as long waiting time as the other panels we were at the day before. jimmy carr walked by, and i shouted "EURGH jimmy carr" - not to get his attention, just to point out to leyla. but obviously, the opposite happened. leyla didn't see straight away, and jimmy DID hear me. and he starred at me. seriously awkward. frankie boyle followed him in about 5 minutes later. would've preferred getting his attention tbh.
the queue for movie x was a total mess. when people were called in, everyone forgot the queue format and just rushed in. i ended up being seperated from leyla. but after i got through the doors, the security guy didn't let anyone else up. lucky moment!!!
so the film was iron sky. SO many people walked out, i dunno why, people had queued for hours. the film was kind of silly though, but at least that's my opinion after seeing the whole thing.
after that, kapow was over :(

me and leyla went for a stroll around london. my bag was kind of heavy, and ngl i think my shoulder still
hurts from that day haha. went to the cinema shop and bought sight and sound magazine that had wes anderson on the cover. also bought a bunch of postcards for other people, idk why there was nothing i wanted. went to fopp after that, and we decided to buy films to watch that evening. picked up transamerica and confessions. i don't remember what leyla got other than my sisters keeper, haha.
but yah after that we bought lots of doritos, leyla got salsa, and i got guacamole. SO CUTE.
first film we watched was transamerica, which was cute. then leylas film was my sister's keeper. i thought it was pretty annoying really.

couldn't cope leaving. don't like leaving london.
we went to this food hall we always go to in london. got nachos from subway for breakfast. legit. downstairs there was some naked man running about, turns out it was for that tv show just for laughs.
bought more dvds from hmv, got skin i live in and paris je'taime. then h&m where me and leyla bought the same dress in different colours. also got a guacamole coloured nail varnish.
saw someone i knew from college on the tube, awkward. waited at victoria station to leave. got a krushem from kfc and crosscut chips from mcdonalds, because why not!!!!!!
there was this cute pizza place that reminded me of abed's (from community) bedroom. next time i'm in london, i wanna go.
so all that time wandering around london went really fast, and it wasn't long til i was on the megabus home. it was kind of an awkward journey, but it could have been hell of a lot worse.

sorry this post is properly lazy at the end, i've probably left out loads, but i'd wrote most of it and left it for another week or something. was sillyyyyyyyy.
