i shouldn't be doing this blog, been insisting on doing work for 2 hours now, but i still haven't got around to it. i suppose doing this is better than doing nothing?
i'm really obsessed with the last 2 films i saw at the cinema.
on thursday i had a really crappy day, and i decided to cheer myself up with a red velvet cupcake and a trip to the cinema alone. was SO worth it. i saw this austrian film called 'michael'. the cinematography, the performances, the use of sound, and pretty much everything else about the film was perfect. it was made so cleverly, i swear, europeans make some of the best films but they never seem to get any recognition? i came out of the cinema literally shaking i was so nervous. when i got home and read about it even more, i just fell more and more in love with the film. it's beaten the descendants as my favourite film of the year (sorry alexander payne, i still love you dearly)
i had to share the trailer, oh man.
then last night i got free tickets for 21 jump street. i'd actually been wanting to see it since i started to follow jonah hill on twitter, and he'd post photos from on set. i wasn't expecting it to be funny, but i ended up laughing a lot. it was really surprising.
so if you want to go to the cinema any time soon, i recommend both of those films. chances are, you'll probably like one of them. if you like both, that's even more super.
i just want to go to the cinema forever, it's so cool these days. (except i didn't really mention i also saw wanderlust last week and it was okay) (did i mention jack and jill the week before? whoops i really did see that)
can't believe it's nearly my 20th birthday, i just want to be a kid forever.
i kind of realised today, i'm probably going to be one of those adults that's not really mature and no one can take seriously. which is kind of sad, but it's the closest to being a kid forever.
maybe i should do work now. i haven't even done a proper post but HI, BYE.

been proper busy lately. i'm not as busy as i was, but really, are you kidding college work?
there was 3 days last week where i stayed at college til 9 or 10. dedication. i hope i get something good from it, because i really am trying now.
obsessed with walking cause i got a pedometer. i walk a lot more than i realise (i did 24,000+ steps one day, omg) except today it went silly and reset my count. gutted.
was 2 year anniversary of meeting tim burton, and i died a little. missed meeting him in paris yesterday. did a singing at the same place the stanley kubrick exhibition was on. place was lovely, would loved to have been able to go see tim burton's stuff and meet him again so i can cry like alice in wonderland in his face again.
booked my kapow ticket!!!!!!! london in may excitemonte~~
yea idk i'm getting worse at writing these blogs.
got my hair done for my birthday and my streak got the chop. black fringe. turquoise slightly dip-dye. i feel ODD. i want to have silly hair colours forever, and i think i'm okay with that.
i wish i had more interesting things to share, but i guess i can't even be bothered to elaborate much on the things i actually have mentioned.

today has been so long, oh deary. the sad thing is, i've hardly done anything. i tried doing an essay for 2 hours, and all i got was 1 paragraph. totally uninspired. i don't think i'm that bad when it comes to writing, i enjoy writing, hence why i blog.
i've had a 'week off' college. all 2 days. well, i did last week, but at least i'd went in once. it's kind of annoying not being there. but not being there last week was good, cause now i have a conditional offer from a uni, woooooooooo.
i saw titanic for the first time on valentines day. free tickets to see it at the cinema in 3d. it's probably obvious that don't like buying into too much hollywood, but a free ticket is worth a shot. thought i'd go with an open mind rather than foaming at the thought of how much james cameron is making from re-releasing the film.
honestly, and quite embarrassingly, i thought it was alright. i have seen worse films.
the day after, i saw the muppets. i loved it a lot more than i thought i would. seriously, also, best cameos ever. been listening to the soundtrack, i feel so silly, but i'm actually obsessed with jason segel's singing~
NOFX tickets are on sale tomorrow, they're coming here like 6 days before blink. going to have such a cool summer, crying the whole time. going in town to get a ticket tomorrow. it's odd, i remember going to town super early last time to get my ticket. this time i don't think i'm as excited as i was, but really, i know it's going to be perfect.
been 'dieting' for over a week now, and i've actually done pretty good so far. i'm honestly not trying the best i can, i don't want this to be one of those diets i give up on quickly. sick of being fatty forever.
oh and it's less than a month til my birthday. don't want to be an adult :(

not wanting to go to sleep, but i probably should, since i have work tomorrow. kind of worried about that. work was a bit weird last time i was there, which is a week ago. hope it's nothing to worry about, which is usually my case.
spent the day with liv in sunderland on monday. we'd planned to get a burrito together, and we discovered that yates sell them. was lovely. fell in love with food.
i'm also pretty excited that i got a year diary for 25p, going to be even more organized than ever now.

had a uni interview on wednesday. it wasn't bad, just not a proper interview. it was my first and second choice uni when i was applying 2 years ago. it looks so good, i'm still unsure whether i'd go if i get into all my options, but it would be a nice place to go.
i finally saw the descendants at the cinema on wednesday too. i've been waiting for so long to see it, i love alexander payne, his style has really developed with the more experience he has, and it's notable in descendants. it was a lot more emotional than i was expecting. definitely another great film for the 2012 list.
spent the past 2 days trying to recover. i've had a horrible throat for almost 2 weeks now, and on friday morning i only felt it had gotten worse. gave college a miss, which i wasn't really happy about.
well, i guess i should sleep now. feels like it didn't take that long to write this post, which is odd. oh well, goodnight.

this week has went by so fast? it's february already, what the fuck.
last night i saw the misfits. honestly, i wasn't that excited. i kind of knew i wasn't seeing glenn danzig or michale graves so i wasn't setting my hopes up. once i was there my mind changed (ended up at the barrier where i was for panic, forever my spot in the academy or something) and i could see jerry only behind the amp. i compared it to leyla at the paul premiere staring at dawn porter, which was quite funny. jerry waved and blew a kiss, and i was so unsure whether it was directed to me or not?
when they came on, they played a bunch of songs i can't even pretend i know the name of. let's be honest here, why would anyone prefer that stuff over glenn danzig's stuff?
jerry was a bit funny on stage, thrusting his arm and stuff, winking to all the girls, i swear i got about 3 winks or something. eventually they played a bunch of danzig era, followed by graves era. all the way through i was thinking "I NEVER DREAMT OF HEARING THESE SONGS LIVE WAA WAA HIGH SCHOOL ME WILL DIE, JERRY ONLY"
it ended so suddenly, jerry said that there wasn't going to be an encore, and mentioned they will be signing stuff outside. i didn't intend to wait around, but after he mentioned it, it seemed like a reasonable idea.
i bumped into rachel, she bought me a sticker, and we waited for jerry together.
there was a giant queue thing going on, no guards or barriers or anything. eventually, i was right infront of jerry. he got photos with girls before me, kissing them loads, even squeezed the arse of the last girl. got me a bit worried. as soon as i walked up to him he was like "KISS ME" which was really quite scary, i don't think i've ever met anyone so forward. he pulled my head towards his cheek, omfg why. after he was like "you were wearing red lipstick so i had to"
it kind of made me sad that he was a total perv, i was going to the gig as the kid who played the bass so i could be like him, and i never got to express that to him at all. fucking rockstars. idiots.
but i got to see one of my all-time favourite bands, finally. out of my top 6 favourite bands ever, i've now seen 4!
other than that, i've been pretty busy with college. handed in my work, and i kind of feel like i'm a bit free now. can watch films and stuff. mind, i've only watched 1 since i finished my work, none this month.
oh, i also won the cutest vans on ebay.

friday night, sitting in my room listening to the romeo and juliet soundtrack. was thinking about doing some work, but maybe it's too late to get into it? i think i'm going to make myself get some out of the way, since i have fuck all to do. i'm starting to think i won't have any time to go anywhere whilst i'm still studying. i know you're not meant to, but last year i got to go to oxford twice during times i was meant to be studying. it's going to be my first february in 2 years that i haven't been to london, and that's absolutely sucky.
i had an incredible time seeing panic! at the disco the other night. i somehow ended up at the barrier, which i wasn't expecting after enduring a long wait at the back of a very long queue. i really can't complain. even when the mic and guitar fucked up, they still found a way to entertain the crowd, by covering billie jean. i was seriously grinning through the whole show. i think my favourite song was nearly witches, i've been SO obsessed with that song since i heard the demo a few years ago, i'm so glad they released it properly.
afterwards, we waited a while to meet them. i knew it wouldn't be as great as the meet and greets, but i didn't see why i should pay any more just to meet them when i've met plenty other musicians after a gig for free. again, somehow got to the barrier for that. we were stood next to this really nice fan who had wrote a letter for the band. she'd waited all morning for them, but they just ignored her and ran straight into the venue. i was more determined for her to get her letter to the band than me meeting them, she really deserved to. she eventually got her letter to them via their bodyguard. he told everyone the band weren't signing stuff, and they'd be going onto the bus in 20 minutes. the expression "stay and watch if you want" meant all the people around weren't going to move. i wouldn't have minded catching the last bus and getting home to watch some modern family, but there was no chance with the swarm of emos i was surrounded by. there were 2 annoying young girls behind loudly criticizing the academy's security guard and gushing on about how hot brendon urie is. hellish.
eventually we saw the guys go past, they didn't ignore us cause they waved and interacted with us! in fact i saw brendon try to get off the bus to come meet everyone, but his body guard said no for us all to see. at least he yelled at me, haha :3
it's kind of a shame, cause in 2006 when people waited to meet them after the show, the band gave everyone soup and tea.
i can't believe i have to go back to reality now though. next time i'll be that hyped up is blink in june. panic! should support them instead, because that really wouldn't be a mistake. liv is now obsessed with panic! too, so we could cry together.
tomorrow i have to wait for a big group of people wanting meals, and a party buffet in the next room. by myself. at least i'm not having a lame saturday night in like i normally do.
i would watch a film, i've only watched 9 this month, which really isn't good if i'm going to beat last years total. i guess i'll have to spend the summer watching a few films a day. then again, i'll probably find another tv show i'll be obsessed with, and spend full days watching that. right now i'm watching modern family. it's on the sky any time thing, but it's only the first series. been combining my latest ebay obsession with this, and trying to get hold of the second season for cheap. not happening though, being outbid too much.
actually, there's no way i can be bothered to do my work now.
