today was good.
first lesson what art. i was so nervous. laura, the student teacher spent more time with me in the lesson than nailah did. that says alot.
she tried to help me do my AS work, but she didn't realise emma was collecting all my AS to re-submit, rather than me doing it all again. i feel a bit sorry for laura because she really knows nothing about any of the art subjects she tries to do. it's not surprising my college have took her on though.
she really scared me aswell when she said "a-levels are nothing. they may seem hard now, but you haven't been to uni yet." and i don't know exactly what she said after that, but she ended it with "don't let these words pass these walls or to anyone else"
which i failed at straight away.
but i'm realieved i don't have that much art to get done. just the AS and A2 exams, and i'm going to start my A2 in the house this week. i'm quite excited for it right now if anything. i feel like i can start a fresh. i really wish next year i could do film and fine art, but there's only subjects like that along with history or media.
in the free i wanted to go to the royal quays to get a sketch book, blue tack and a doll. liv and laurie were 'too tired' to go, and then alice said she would go. then liv said she'd go too. i was like eeeeeee aye you do when alice does but when it's just me you won't :0
and laurie was upset by this too and went home.
we only ended up going into north sheilds anyway. i didn't get a book, but i did get liquorice, which i felt like i had to get because everyone else was getting something. i feel bad for getting them now.
i also got my lunch from the co-op there cause they have more options than the one by college. i did end up getting a differet one.
film was ehh.
the tables were all seperated, then johnny put them all back together again, which was pointlesssss.
we watched city of god, which i still found myself unable to enjoy. i'm concerned that that part of my exam won't be pleasurable. same with american history x though, oh my goddddd.
i drew more people on the back of my book. it's a nice collection. i did a perfect cartoon one too, which i don't know weither it should be shared via my blog really.
art was okay. some french woman broke the photocopier, and it wasn't joelle. i felt like i didn't have much to do. but my cupboard is getting fuller, but more boring than i thought it would be. i need to bring my camera into college to photograph the production of it. it also means i can post them online :)
i was invited to see 'shutter island' at very short notice, and i wasn't sure if i would even make it on time, but i did.
i am so glad i didn't miss it. although the editing in the film was annoying and not very well done, i thought it was brilliant. it reminded me of fight club mostly, but with an obvious martin scorsese style added to it. i also enjoyed the scene that was almost similar to the opening sequence of 'don't look now'. i hope that was supposed to be like that.
on the way home, it was very scary. i don't even know why. past the forum in the dark, someone stopped walking, and they stood somewhere where light couldn't shine on them. i felt like it would take forever to get home, when it only should be a 3 minute walk ):
and there were lots of chavs. there were 2 in the backlane before mine, and i'm sure they were going to follow me once they saw me, or something.
i don't even know why i was so scared, i was terrified though.
i do enjoy how lengthy this blog is though.
